This series addresses the period of As’ad Pasha Al-Azem in his rule over Damascus, and the construction of Al-Azem palace and Khan As’ad Pasha on the expenses of the people of Damascus, the invasion of locusts, as well as the conflicts between Janissaries & Al Zerbawat and the death and destruction it brought. All of these events didn’t stray the people of Damascus  from their humane relationships, the love they hold for each other and their
unity for the sake of their county’s interest.
